Our client received a complaint on the quality of the leather used in most recent restoration project. We suggested a method that would help to confirm presence or absence of real leather in submitted sample. Throught laboratory testing, we identified the material as a Polyvinyl Chloride based synthetic leather. Upon further investigation, client discovered that his supplier accidentally provided wrong batch of leather-like material.
